Update

It's been long since I opened my blog account.. It's because school keeps me busy. Last Saturday, I lost a tooth. Losing it didn't hurt much; I had to bite a ball of cotton for two hours to stop the bleeding though... so that made me shut up (I'm talkative). I also have to take in antibiotic everyday for 7 days to prevent infection of my gums. My gums are good, I think.

Oh ya, I just remembered! I'm going to undergo a blood type test next week. I don't know my blood type so it's quite exciting to find it out.

I guess that's all for now. I got to do my homeworks so I could sleep early. Have a great week!

Plus one

I have nothing much to share right now so all I want to say is I'm excited about my birthday... I have 16 days left before I turn __; here's how to get my age: square root of 784 divided by 2 plus 1...I can't believe I'm going to get older again. Time goes by really fast. I just remembered my birthday when we were watching my baby pictures last Tuesday.

I posted two of my baby pictures, I included a pic of me and my bro when I was about 5 or 6 years old.

News

I started this day with a smile on my face and then I went to school. Just after our break, we heard a sad news. Tyler (my classmate) who just lost his grandma last Friday, lost his father. He died of heart attack... It's really hard to be in that situation. I feel very sorry for him; I saw how he looked like earlier, with tears in eyes and a very very sad face. I sympathize with his family. God be with them at this time of grief.

Busy Week

Though we had no classes for three days because of the Holiday and the typhoon, I had been busy for the past days. I listed below the things I did last week.

1. I visited my grandparents.

2. I signed and submitted my application form for the 2009 People to People Leadership Summit.

3. I, together with my group mates, worked on a project about Meiosis.

4. I also worked on our debate for the Filipino subject.

5. I articles for our school paper.

6. I attended the reorganization of the Youth for Environment in Schools Organization and was elected vice president.

7. Studied for quizzes and finished many assignments.

8. Gave instructions and directions to my classmates on what to do for our report in Biotechnology.

9. Checked our attendance every school day because I’m the class secretary.

10. I baked cookies for my niece and my younger brother.

My mind is always preoccupied; I sleep late and then wake up very early; and I have many things to do in school and at home. It’s tough for me to experience this at my age…but it is training; preparation for college I think.

I thank God for answering my prayers and for giving me strength and joy to do all of these things. He has been there for me the whole time; I might have given up if I didn’t have faith in Him...He is awesome indeed!!

My first post

School days are here again! I've been attending school for a month. I find it interesting and boring...and HARD!! But needless to say I'm trying to have fun..I'm looking forward to accepting challenges this school year. I hope that I will give my best and do better than last year.

Things had gone well for the past weeks. I was always tired though. Not to forget the exciting part, I received a letter from the People to People Leadership Organization. I'm invited to attend the People to People Leadership Summit 2009 in the US (Stanford University, San Francisco, California)...Woohoo!! Thank you God! I wasn't expecting this!

I also baked a cake for the first time, last Tuesday. It's pretty cool not to follow the procedure of the recipe and find out that your baked product turned out just right.

Here are some pictures taken last July 15
